In the morning, we will pick you up to begin your Coptic Cairo day tour, joining one of our exceptional tour guides who will show you some of the most fascinating Coptic sites throughout Old Cairo. The mesmerizing sites you will visit include:

The Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary��s Church)

Dating back to the 3rd century, the Hanging Church is built above a Roman fortress gatehouse. Known for its beautiful wooden architecture and iconic icons, it reflects Egypt��s rich Christian heritage.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

Located in Old Cairo, the Ben Ezra Synagogue is Egypt��s oldest Jewish temple, dating to the 9th century. Famous for the Cairo Geniza manuscripts, it has been beautifully restored and highlights Egypt��s diverse religious history.

Lunch Time

Abu Serga Church (Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus)

One of the oldest and most revered churches in Egypt, Abu Serga was built in the 4th century AD and is believed to be the resting place of the Holy Family during their flight into Egypt. The church stands above a crypt where tradition holds that Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus found shelter, and features ancient wooden architecture and a serene spiritual atmosphere.

The Virgin Mary Church
